Movie Star Charts
If you love films and graphic design (plus you have a spare blank wall that's aching for something special), then we've found just the thing!
Firstly there's the Science Fiction Star chart. It's a poster that's based on the night sky above the Théâtre Robert-Houdin in Paris on September 1st, 1902 following the first screening of Georges Méliès Le Voyage dans la Lune (A Trip to the Moon). The constellation chart features 121 movies and TV series with the actors and the year in which it was released, including such classics as Star Wars, Alien, Star Trek and Doctor Who.
The Horror Star Chart is similar in format to the Science Fiction Star Chart but covers the world of horror from film and TV. The night sky is based on the one that appeared over the Berlin Zoological Gardens on 4th March 1922 during the premier of F.W. Murnau’s classic vampire film 'Nosferatu'. The chart covers the whole horror genre form the early silent horror moves, through to the 1970s Hammer Horror films and up to the modern zombie movies. Dracula, The Exorcist, Psycho and Evil Dead are just some of the great movies featured.
These two posters are available from We Are Dorothy, an emporium of beautifully crafted posters and prints.
