This has to be one of the best examples of packaging design created this year, designed by agency JKR for boutique perfumery brand Penhaligon's . Penhaligon's Christmas gift range features a range of exquisite perfumes, sprays and scents for both ladies and men.  The gift boxes feature fantastic and eccentric anthropomorphic animal illustrations. Each gift box features a fantasy world designed to reflect the brand’s charismatic and eccentric charm.  The boxes also reveal a story, from an afternoon tea party through to music and discovery. Liv Design designed the brand identity and packaging for homemade country kitchen produce brand Sophie and Boo recently. We're currently working on the brand new website for Sophie and Boo, and here are some of the beautiful images photographed by Nottingham based photographer Andy Pendlebury .

These are beautifully handmade recycled creations by Wendy Gold of US company ImageNations . They're made to order in a variety of designs to a size of your choosing, using out-of-date, used globes. If you can't decide on one of the designs here you can always commission your own. Personally we're spoilt for choice. The 'Rock and Roll' and 'Superman' globes are our favourites.
