Coleman's 200th Anniversary mustard jars

Image
What's caught Liv Design's eye in the design world this week? It's these great Coleman's mustard jars. These vintage inspired limited edition jars celebrate the 200th anniversary of Coleman's Mustard. The three jars feature a poodle looking into a butcher's window, a vintage ad, and a poorly polar bear. They reflect the themes of mustard being as a great accompaniment to meat, and mustard once being thought of as having medicinal properties. Of course, we've bought all three for Liv Design's shelf of nice packaging design!

Liberty ice cream van

Image
This is a great PR idea. Take a retro ice cream van, fit it with a Liberty pattern, get it out on the streets of London and hey presto! A mobile advertising hoarding that also sells ice cream! The 1950s van is promoting Liberty's new kitchenware, food and gifts collection:  Flowers of Liberty , which is available in three flavours, sorry – patterns; Betsy, Theodora and Wiltshire. Nice logo too! What better way is there to advertise and promote your products?

size? exclusive Nike Court Surfaces Pack trainers

Image
Just in time for Wimbledon, Nike have relaunched their Tennis Classic AC trainer. The 'Court Surfaces' Pack are a  size? World Exclusive, only available from them.  The four tennis court themed colours include White, Jade, Rust Orange, and Obsidian. The range feature a crocodile skin pattern, white soles and colour co-ordinated laces. We think they're the perfect design to complete that Summer style. The ads are great too!

Awesome new Ariel Ace Motorcycle

Image
Ariel , makers of the bonkers Arial Atom car, have launched this beautiful looking motorcycle called the Ace. Ariel previously manufactured motorcycles from 1902 until the 1960 when it ceased production. The new model uses the Honda 1237cc V4 engine from the VFR1200 so it should pack some punch as well as being reliable. The bikes can be tailored personally for customers allowing them to create anything from a cruiser, naked street fighter, or sports bike, allowing endless possibilities. No two bikes will look the same. What other manufacturer lets you create your own bespoke bike? Or car?…
