Royal Mail's Team GB Olympic Gold winners stamps
Here's one of the better Olympic merchandise designs that we love at Liv Design! To celebrate Team GB's success in the London 2012 Olympics, Royal Mail have pledged to design a stamp for each of our Gold medal winners. They will also paint one of their postboxes gold in the winner's home town. We're not sure if Royal Mail anticipated the success of our Team GB but it means that there's a lot of stamps to produce so far. It's going to be good for Royal Mail's profits though with collectors splashing out for a complete set. So far, they've designed 16 stamps for the following Team GB Olympic gold medal winners : Andy Murray - gold in the Men’s Singles Tennis Ben Ainslie - gold in the Sailing: Finn – Men’s Heavyweight Dinghy Mo Farah - gold in the Athletics Men’s 10,000m Greg Rutherford - gold in the Men’s Long Jump Jessica Ennis - gold in the Woman’s Heptathlon Dani King, Joanna Rowsell and Laura Trott - gold in the Women’s Cycling Team Pursuit
