Movie merchandise – a step too far?

Now Liv Design are big fans of many sci-fi and fantasy movies and owners of one or two collectors pieces. Normally we embrace the ever growing range of 'unique' pieces of movie memorabilia. We thought we'd seen just about every piece of ridiculous, hideous and tenuous products imaginable in the ever-growing industry. Boy, were we wrong...

Step up the 'Iron man 2' leathers. Yes, for bikers everywhere who also fancy dressing up as their favourite superhero you can now buy a full Marvel Iron Man 2 styled set of motorcycle leathers including boots and gloves (no helmet? tut...).


The suit is made by Universal Replicas and is officially licenced by Universal Studios and Marvel (?!).

According to the website blurb "Every effort to maintain and respect this seemingly impossible Mark V armor in all its detail ‘as seen on screen’ has now been painstakingly replicated down to the smallest and seemingly most insignificant of details. Careful study of every angle, bevel and shape have lead to all being wonderfully replicated in this breathtaking officially licensed motorcycle suit"

Wow, the resemblance to the outfit in the film is uncanny. Where's my Visa card?



Is it us or has the suit got really odd proportions? Maybe the model has really short legs...

The new horror novel 'Forest of Amber' by Scott Johnson

The latest novel from Scott Johnson is out now, just in time for Christmas! Forest of Amber is Scott's fourth book. What's the new novel about? 'It's a horror novel that's grounded in folklore. It's a dark psychological chiller. A couple are trying to save their relationship by going on a camping break. Things don't turn out as they'd hoped. It's an examination of human traits; the two main characters have characteristics and faults that we all have, they're troubled, they're angry, they're surviving day-to-day. It also suggests that there's no such thing as wholly good and bad, we're all a mix of good and evil. It's all a matter of perspective. One of the underlying themes that runs though the story is religion and sin. What is it? What do we do with it? Lenovo's new racy Ducati laptop
