Liv Design helps to promote University of Nottingham IT Services

We were asked to design a banner and literature for the University of Nottingham to showcase and promote their Information Services core offerings.

The University offers a wide variety of Information Technology and Library services for students ranging from library resources, laptop provision, to virtual learning environments and IT support.

We were asked to create bright, dynamic promotional material which would be used at University open days, education events and exhibitions to promote the services that they provide seven days a week, day and night. We created a Sun and Moon graphic to represent the 24/7 theme and which was applied to a leaflet and bannerstand.

The bannerstand was an electronic bannerstand where the graphic constantly moves. This created a feeling of a whole day and night cycle where the graphic moves from dusk until dawn and throughout the night! The 24/7 neon logo adding to the 'out of hours' feeling.

A supporting leaflet was also produced using the eye-catching design and unusual format (half A4 landscape) to draw attention and showcase all the services in an easy to read format. It was important to make the information easy to read and understand, particularly for students with disabilities and foreign students.
