BT tradespace

Finally/hopefully/maybe we are now set up on BTtradespace. It's a bit like FaceBook for businesses. It's new, and it could be a really useful tool for finding both suppliers, contacts and suppliers. Or, it could be a virtual networking site full of amatuer companies who don't want to pay for advertising.

For one thing, the site seems very unprofessional. We've spent the past month asking BT why it doesn't work properly. Was it because we were on a Mac. Maybe it's because we're not on the very latest OSX? Maybe it just doesn't work in Safari. Or Firefo either... We couldn't even register our company, select a sector or channel, add descriptions or even upload our logo! It didn't allow us to save either. And why on earth do Graphic Design companies appear under 'Art, Antiques and Collectables' when Advertisng and Marketing companies come under Business Services?!

I think some of the issues are now sorted as we've managed to do some bits, although we've had no emails letting us know or what the issues were, we just kept trying every day.

BT's attitude towards technology is very dissapointing. A company with their credentials and knowledge would at least test something to get rid of all the bugs before releasing it. Although, judging by their laughably poor initial Hub I guess not.
